Key Stewardship Responsibilities
- Ensure every grower in your network has a completed and signed SSA.
- Maintain and monitor compliance records, providing documentation upon request.
- Educate retailers on SSA requirements as part of your annual stewardship obligations.
- Distribute only certified Silverline™ seed to growers to ensure genetic purity and consistent performance.
- Collaborate with Syngenta to include SSA requirements in your seed guides and product tables.
- Provide growers with stewardship resources and training to help them understand their obligations.
- Submit timely reports on seed distribution and grower compliance to Syngenta Seeds.
- Support Syngenta’s efforts by assisting with grower audits, both random and targeted, as required.
- Monitor sales to retailers and growers to ensure compliance with stewardship standards.
- Report any suspicious compliance activity to Syngenta for follow-up and resolution.
